The project Camiris®
Too often, about existing digital cameras, we hear blaming about program complexity, the difficulty of installation and lack of fidelity of images seen on the screen compared to those seen in the eyepiece of the optics.
Design Camiris ®
Based on this observation, we decided to design cameras that respond better to the needs expressed. We also wanted to set a new standard with an object not only functional but beautiful. We have therefore developed with the design agency Nomadcom a packaging resolutely modern and attractive.
In addition, we wanted to think about the environment from the moment of conception. So the choice of material is focused on the Priplak ®.
The production of Priplak ® is done without the use of water and does not release harmful emissions. It is a solid material, chlorine free, 100% recyclable and is 35% lighter than the usual materials. This save transportation costs and thus contribute to reducing CO2 emissions.
Bringing simplicity is complicated.
That is why we took a long time for mature the draft of Camiris ® by listening carefully to the needs of our customers.
Although very sophisticated, the program which controls the range of cameras Camiris ® provides an easy user interface. This interface puts immediately forward the essential functions.
Acquire an image in the usual file formats like BMP or JPG is very intuitive.
The same goes for the creation of videos in AVI format.
The function of sequencing that allows filming scenes at intervals is also very simple. For example filming a culture for 15 s every 3 hours over 5 days.
Special attention has been focused on image quality.
First, the calibration function for white (white balance) is easily accessible and intuitive.
The defaults are appropriate, but the user may of course adopt theirs.
Then, an extensive online help shows the role and impact of each of the settings, which further facilitates obtaining beautiful images.
Particular care was also provided in the quality of program design.
Indeed, Camiris ® is designed to be supported by Windows ® XP and Windows Vista ®. The work of the designer was to eliminate as much as possible the usual pitfalls associated with the facility to facilitate the user.
Several months, several versions and many tests were needed to achieve this result.
The designers have used the method of object-oriented design, with Microsoft Visual Studio ®, C + + language.
Just a few clicks to install the program that will operate without failure.
The camera settles on a USB 2 port and is powered by the port, there is no need to plug to the sector.
The range Camiris ®
The range Camiris ® from Perfex Sciences includes 6 cameras. They differ in particular by the resolution and speed. According to his need, the user will find an appropriate response.
Whether acquiring many images quickly or get beautiful illustrations, there is a Camiris ® for you.
As such, you can view the table of specifications.
Camiris ® range with all those who need to make an image or a movie from their observation, either to illustrate a report or project an image during a presentation.
The exchange of information, supported by images, makes sense when seeking the advice of a remote expert, or to support his diagnosis.
For others it will illustrate a website.
For all, Camiris ® provides the answer with the image quality desired.
Support
With our total control of programming, marketing and distribution, we provide all our customers a fast, efficient and comprehensive service.
Camiris ® is administered entirely in Toulouse.
An online help is included with the program, it is complete and accurate.
The impact of the adjustments is detailed. Thus, it becomes easy to understand the functions and to play to complete the picture given by the camera.
We are much inspired by what is happening in photography to build this support.
